Spectrograms were generated using PRAAT software from voices included in the Disordered Voice Database supplied by KayPENTAX. The type one voice shows clearly defined harmonics with limited energy between these harmonics. The type two voice shows readily apparent subharmonics with energy levels near that of the fundamental frequency. The type 3 voice has harmonics that are more obscured; there is evidence of bifurcations and a spread of energy across the lower frequencies.
